orginal ETS location
Here is the story of ETS...

Buffalo is well known for three things: the food, the friendly people and the lovely winter weather. ETS plays a role in two of the three.

Ron Lucchino established the first Elmwood Taco and Subs (ETS) in 1975 on the corner of Elmwood and West Delevan. His goal has always been to provide Buffalonians an alternative to traditional fast food. Ron focuses on fresh ingredients, his own original recipes, and fast service in a spotlessly clean kitchen and dining room. For over three decades, the ETS menu has expanded to include traditional Mexican favorites like tacos, burritos, chimichangas, fajitas, quesadillas, taco salads, and Mexican style pizzas. The menu also has a variety of subs and local Buffalo specialties: chicken finger subs, Buffalo chicken wings and crispy waffle cut fries. ETS also offers whole wheat tortillas and vegetarian options. ETS is best known for its specialty items: homemade taco filling, Diavolo hot sauce, tangy lemon-herb infused sub oil, and homemade chili in the cold winter months.

In 2008, ETS relocated to a brand new building at 937 Elmwood. The new location is equipped with many customer friendly amenities. The large dining area with its ultra modern décor is the perfect setting for a casual business lunch, fun family dinner, or a late-night snack. For customers that are on-the-go, there is a drive-thru window for quick service. Order at the window or pick up phone-in take-out orders.

For the past 35 years, ETS has proudly remained a family business. The Lucchino family is dedicated to providing their customers with fast and delicious food made with the freshest local ingredients.

The Lucchino family would like to thank all their customers for their continued patronage throughout the years.
